People want the good, but are attracted to evil. People want safe streets, respectful children, friendly neighbors, good health care, faithful spouses, honest politicians, and all that is good.

Recently, I took my 5-year-old son Matthew for a walk near our house. The big snow banks in our city are melting and the sidewalks are littered with deep, dirty puddles. Adults try to avoid walking through them, but not Matthew!

Many people don’t try to deny their base appetites. They indulge in them, even to excess.

Our Lady warned us at Fatima about the great dangers and catastrophes that the world would face if her request, the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart, was not granted. Her request has not been granted and the world is now on the threshold of a great chastisement.

I’m a big Dylan fan. I just never seem to get tired of his music. One of the reasons is that it is generally ill defined, like a beautiful photo that is somewhat fuzzy and poorly lit, so that you are intrigued and want to see more.

Do you love others as yourself? No offence, but I doubt that you do. I am a long way from achieving this ideal, and I believe that not more than one in a million people loves others as they should. There is some goodness in everyone; however, compared to God, we are nothing but miserable sinners.
