The Trump Phenomenon & Fatima

This presidential election is perhaps the most important since John Kennedy defeated Richard Nixon in 1960. On one side, is Hillary Clinton, a professional politician, an ardent leftist and a dedicated servant of the global elite. On the other, is Donald Trump, a successful businessman recently turned politician who is funding is own campaign, promising to stem the tide of illegal immigration and bring good jobs back to America by opposing free trade. Like all recent presidents, Clinton is a globalist. Trump is a nationalist.

Trump’s campaign slogan is “Make America Great Again.” His success, so far, can be explained by the dissatisfaction of millions of Americans, especially white, Christian, male Americans. Up until the social revolution of the 1960s, the American white Christian male was catered to. Since then, his economic condition has worsened. His race is no longer as dominant nor as privileged and his nation has become largely secularized. Trump’s prescription for what ills America is basically sound; however, it is missing one crucial ingredient. Although his newly found pro-life stand is resonating well with conservative Christians, Trump is not promising to reverse the decades-old trend towards neo-paganism that is poisoning America. He is not promising to bring religion back into America’s public schools, make divorce harder, or outlaw same sex “marriage” and pornography. Nevertheless, Trump knows that he can count on the support of conservative Christians because they simply have nowhere else to turn.

America was great for most of its history largely because it was Christian. “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great,” (Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America, 1863). The nation’s cabalist elite once promoted and protected America’s Christian culture largely because it wanted to build a really strong nation. Yes, the elite was anti-Catholic, but it was pro-Protestant. Since the mid-Sixties, America’s establishment has opposed conservative Christianity in general and has promoted secularism, liberalism, feminism, globalism, socialism, multi-culturalism and the absolute control of the nation (and the world) by international finance. It has favoured a lax immigration policy in order to weaken the dominant American race and religion and strengthen the position of the left. Its free trade policy has resulted in a sharp decline in domestic manufacturing and the loss of millions of well paying jobs. Its promotion of the welfare state is demoralizing the people, adding to the public debt, encouraging higher taxes, while also strengthening the position of the left. Its promotion of sexual immorality in the form of easily available contraception, legalized abortion, the normalization of sex outside of marriage, easy divorce, porn on demand, and homosexual rights, is weakening the social fabric.

While America declines, her archrival Russia is gaining strength. After suffering for more than 70 years under atheistic communism, Russia, under Vladimir Putin, is championing the Russian Orthodox Church. Churches are sprouting up throughout that great land as the nation is experiencing a rebirth. Today, Russia and its allies are standing up to the globalists who are making their final bid for total control of the world and are using the USA to do most of the dirty work.

Putin has criticized the West’s slide into moral degeneracy: “Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values. Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation.”

Our Lady of Fatima foretold of the coming alliance between Russia and the Catholic Church: “…I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart … In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world” (Third Apparition, July 13, 1917, Fatima, Portugal). Such an alliance would result in a sharp rebalancing of world power. The Church, which has been marginalized throughout the West, might be called upon to help make Western culture great again. The Trump phenomenon is perhaps foreshadowing this great future event.
