It was no surprise to me that the U.S. Supreme Court recently gave same-sex “marriage” a big boost. I knew it was coming. I’ve noticed a pattern when it comes to culture-changing Supreme Court decisions.

Why do some men, with big muscles, often wear muscle shirts? You know, the kind without any sleeves? Or, why do some people, whose arms are completely decorated with tattoos, so often wear short sleeve shirts?

As a child, I loved superhero TV shows and comic books. They made everything seem so simple. Arch villain on the loose? Police can’t stop him? What to do? Easy, call Batman on the bat phone!

After having written several editorials and letters-to-the-editor on a certain subject, I’m simply not going to write about it anymore.

Usually when I pray the Rosary, my mind wanders terribly. The prayers are, of course, repetitive. I’ve prayed them hundreds of times, so I find it hard to focus on the words and their meanings. However, last Sunday it was different. I was feeling very anxious and depressed and I needed God’s help.
