Thunder Bay and Area Right to Life and We Need A Law, setup 10,000 flags in Waverly Park in Thunder Bay on September 17th, 2016 to let people know that over 100,000 babies are aborted every year in Canada. Each flag represents 10 children. We spoke with the organizers at Right to Life.
Last year, the Supreme Court declared that Canadian laws protecting patients against doctor-assisted death were unconstitutional, even though no right to assisted suicide or euthanasia appears anywhere in the nation’s constitution.
Despite the many evil things happening in Canada, and in the world, it is our desire that you don’t lose hope, and that you continue to live out his Holy Gospel.
The public was invited to become politically active in the struggle against abortion at the Lifetour gathering in Thunder Bay on the evening of October 7. The event took place at Urban Abbey, a former protestant church, on Red River Road.
Pro-life advocates assembled peacefully on Memorial Avenue at the Intersections of Memorial and Central Avenue to stand up for the rights of the unborn during the afternoon hours.
